Glimmer by Warren Berger

In a review on Core77, Robert Blinn takes a look at Warren Berger's book Glimmer. In it, he says that the book can be boiled down to one lesson: it's all about starting the work. When an artist begins something, he or she becomes psychologically involved in the project. Once the first steps are taken, the rest come more easily.
This especially strikes me with my own work. Procrastination is difficult to overcome, but when the task has begun, it is much easier to complete.
